■Getxophoto International Image Festival takes place in Getxo, the Basque Country, close to Bilbao (15km). It is conceived to walk around the city and delve into the exhibitions in a few hours. Most of them are open-air installations and can be visited at any time.

■All the exhibitions can be seen, at a comfortable pace, in about 4 or 5 hours.

■We advise you to come by public transport, by bike or on foot. Everything is within walking distance. In this sectionyou will find more information about how to get to Getxo.

■The Info Point is located just 150 metres from Algorta metro station inside the Market (Torrene 4).

■Bring your water bottle and refill it at the water fountains marked on the Festival map.

■If you generate waste during your visit, don’t forget to separate it correctly in the respective containers around the city.

■You don’t need to print your tickets. Bring them in digital format on your mobile phone and save paper.

■The Getxo Tourist Office is located on Ereaga beach. There you can find additional information about the city and other plans for your visit.
