The GETXOPHOTO International Open Call was held with the support of Picter platform. Visual artists from all over the world shared their vision on the topic To the streets!, and 4 projects were selected:

Radio Ambulante
Radio Ambulante is a narrative podcast that relates Latin American stories under the usual aesthetics of the written press chronicle. These are unique, high-quality episodes distributed by NPR, New York’s public radio.

EHU Kultura & Goethe Institut
We establish this relationship with the University of the Basque Country by bringing a part of the Festival to the EHU Kultura headquarters in Bilbao (Bizkaia Aretoa).
In the same way, the relevant german cultural institution Goethe-Institut collaborates with the Festival in the production of this exhibition by the German collective Mentalgassi.


Pro Helvetia
The swiss cultural foundation Pro Helvetia has been supporting GETXOPHOTO for several years. In this edition, Fragmentin group’s virtual reality installation 2199 is carried out due to their contribution.


Phroom
PHROOM Magazine, international research platform dedicated to contemporary fine art photography and video art, exhibits Zapping the archive, a selection of images from its archives in the Festival’s Info Point.
