Revisiting Memory will show two artists in dialogue about WW2 historical perspectives from Europe to Asia, detailing the lasting sentiments of guilt and shame and the unspoken pain which lingers. Anton Kusters’s The Blue Skies Project is a journey through the 1,078 concentration camps of Nazi Germany across Europe, capturing the blue, open skies above each with a single Polaroid, while in Kazuma Obara’s Far East – A Stolen Father, the official Japanese post war narrative is challenged through the reconstruction of events by testimonies from POWs inside camps in the Far East.
