Group exhibition

Sofía Moro.

An exhibition which brings together four artists whose works reflect on the conflicts that affected Spain in the 20th Century. They include Julián Barón’s previously unseen work El laberinto mágico, which looks at the Spanish Civil War through current historical re-enactments; the final instalment of Clemente Bernad’s long-term meditation on the end of the Basque conflict and the fall of ETA, retold through abandoned buildings; and Sofia Moro’s portraits and stories of Civil War survivors, creating a polyphonic account of a generation. Finally, Juan Valbuena’s work pieces together the consequences of colonisation and decolonisation in the forgotten conflict in Equatorial Guinea.
